In the daily work of an veterinary clinic a microscope is indispensable in the examination of:

• Skin scrapings (scabies, fungi, yeasts);
• Urine: crystals (bladder stones), cells, bacteria;
• Blood smears;
• Biopsies: tumor cells;
• Stool: worms, protozoa;
• Vaginal smears: part of breeding guidance
